Nita Lopez | | As we all know, Neways is a compact signer with Safe Cosmetics...they are leading the way in providing safe alternatives for us & our families. Also, if you know of anyone who lives in WA. WA is looking to put into effect a law similar to what we have in CA. Please ask them to get involved in helping that law to pass. That would be 2 states that are headed in the right direction. As of now, the companies don't have to remove the chemicals but they have to report it to the state. Maybe we are on the right track to where we, as consumers, will have to be informed about the ingredients that are making their way into our bodies and our children's!
If you are not currently aware of what is in the products you and your family are using. Please take the time to educate yourself. You wouldn't allow your child to smoke...please don't allow them to be exposed to these harmful chemicals either. Look how long it took for them to admit tobacco was cancer causing! Also, many of us have or know of someone who has been afflicted with breast cancer. You can read the the 2006 report from The Breast Cancer Fund on chemicals that we are exposed through in the environment (this includes personal care products) that seem to increase our risk to breast cancer. Please just go ogle The Breast Cancer Fund and the report will come up. In addition, they have many educational articles there.
Please contact me if you would like to attend a seminar that will educate you on the chemicals in your cosmetics and personal care products or if you would like information on Ne ways "clean" products. This is not going to change until we stand up against these companies.
Making a difference is worth all that we have if it educates someone one. Joining together to educate all can change the world!!!!
