It is great that you are wanting to educate yourself more on toxins in the products we use in our home. It is definitely important to use products that are toxin free. I have been reading books and articles about toxins and make it my personal goal to help find products that can help people lead healthier lives. I use the products myself, and if I like them, I recommend them to others. I have joined three companies that have products that are better for my family, namely Watkins, Melaleuca and Young Living. As I have researched the products in each of the companies, I have found that it is very imporatant to read the labels on everything. Both Watkins and Mela contain some products that are not completely toxin free. Many of their products ARE good, but not all of them are, unfortunately. That led me to keep researching and I stumbled upon Young Living. Their products are excellent and they have a pamphlet that is called "Rub-a-Dub-Dub is there cancer in your tub?", which is an excellent source of information about toxins in the products we use in our home. That would be one pamphlet I recommend you to check out. There uis also a tape called "Find Healthy Life in a world of toxins" which is by Gary Young, that you might want to check out, but then again you might find it being somewhat bias since it talks about how the Young Living products help you live healthy...
I also would recommend that you search on the internet by typing in the word toxins. I have done a lot of research that way myself. A site that you would probably like is mercola.com and also naturalcures.com. A book you might be interested in reading is called "Natural Cures they dont' want you to know about" by Kevin Trudeau. Excellent book!
